Would you believe that people just like you have been doing eye correction exercises since the 1920s? It’s true and these same eye correction exercises can be used today to accomplish the same thing. Don’t worry, because many people procrastinate about going to the eye doctor for the same reasons. Some people are even worried that they might find out the worst about their eye health.
It’s ok, because now that you know that there are eye exercises that you can do to correct your vision issues, you can begin on them immediately. Many of the problems that occur with a person’s vision are due to focusing to hard on some things. Maybe you spend a lot of hours on the computer focusing on school work. Maybe you spend a lot of time reading paperwork or maybe you spend a lot of time focusing on other things. Whatever it is, it can cause some serious damage to your eyesight on down the road.
If you really want to improve your vision without spending all of your money on eye care, then try some of these exercises. One simple exercise that you can do at any time of the day regardless of what you’re doing is blinking. That’s right; blinking is an exercise that can improve your vision health. It keeps your eyes in a fresh state and helps you focus a lot longer when needed. If you spend a lot of time in front of the computer or television, believe it or not, you blink a lot less. So, this exercise can really be beneficial.
Blink 4-5 times for about 3-4 minutes. Afterwards, take a written or mental note of how different your eyes feel. Are they feeling strained, tired or relaxed? Once you’ve done this, try not blinking at all for about 40 seconds. Surely you feel a difference. Did you know that the brief period of darkness that you experience when you blink actually refreshes your eyes and allows you to keep up with new information? This allows your eyes to rid itself of the strain that you previously experienced.
When you blink more often, it allows your eyes to relax and it improves your communication with others. When people talk to you and they’re blinking at a 4-5 second interval, they’re relaxed and you can expect them to be a friendly listener. Try this exercise out and see if you notice a difference in the way your eyes feel.
